We verify proof of ownership and identity before opening vehicles, homes or businesses, or making keys.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the provision of mobile locksmith services by Bulldog Lock and Key ("Company", "we", "us"), a registered Minnesota business, to clients and customers ("Customer", "you").

By requesting service via phone, email, or website interaction, or by authorizing our mobile technicians to perform work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Upfront Quotes Before Work Begins

Transparent Pricing Commitment: Quotes are given before work begins. We explain the complete service price to you before starting any job so you are fully informed upfront.

Our estimates are based on the specific lock type, key generation requirements, programming specifications, and service circumstances you describe. If on-site inspection reveals unforeseen structural complications, non-factory aftermarket alarm systems, or previous mechanical lock damage, our technician will discuss any price adjustments with you for your approval prior to commencing work.

Proof of Ownership & Identity Verification

To ensure community safety, prevent theft, and protect property owners, Bulldog Lock and Key strictly enforces ownership verification before performing any lockout entry or creating replacement keys.

  • Automotive Services: You must present a valid government-issued photo ID that matches either the vehicle registration, title, active insurance card, or a verifiable lease agreement.
  • Residential Services: You must demonstrate legal tenancy or property ownership via a government photo ID matching the property address, utility bill, lease agreement, or landlord authorization.
  • Commercial Services: You must demonstrate authorization as an owner, facility manager, or designated employee with legal authority to alter locks or gain access to the premises.

If proper verification cannot be provided, our technician reserves the legal right to decline service immediately.

Payment Methods & Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services. We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover processed securely on-site.
  • Contactless Mobile Payments: Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Cash: Exact cash or currency paid directly to the mobile technician.

Digital receipts are issued via email or SMS text upon completed payment.

Service Area & Availability Disclaimer

Bulldog Lock and Key is a mobile-only service operating without a physical storefront. We serve Minneapolis and surrounding Minnesota communities:

Crystal, Golden Valley, New Hope, Brooklyn Center, Columbia Heights, Minneapolis, Fridley, Brooklyn Park, St. Anthony Village, St. Louis Park, Plymouth, New Brighton, Hopkins, Hilltop, Maple Grove, Roseville, Edina, Mounds View, Minnetonka, and Arden Hills.

Our operating hours are 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM, 365 days a year. While we strive for rapid response times, all arrival estimates are subject to technician availability, distance, traffic congestion, and severe Minnesota winter weather conditions.

Limitation of Liability

Our technicians utilize professional non-destructive lock manipulation methods whenever possible. However, the Customer acknowledges that pre-existing lock wear, seized internal tumblers, previous forced entry attempts, or degraded automotive components may suffer mechanical failure during servicing.

To the fullest extent permitted by Minnesota law, Bulldog Lock and Key's total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service rendered. We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. Bulldog Lock and Key is fully insured and bonded in Minnesota.
